About the author
Alina Radziejowski Wheeler (1948–2023) was an American graphic designer and author whose work placed her at the intersection of design practice and brand theory. She co-founded a graphic design firm and made her most lasting mark through two influential books: Designing Brand Identity (2003), a widely used reference in the field, and Brand Atlas: Branding Intelligence Made Visible (2011).
